Come Peruse the Silky Magical Art of Jerusha Marley
Luxury Silk Scarfs - Made In Italy - Designed in Ireland
Each luxury silk scarf features a hand drawn artwork by Jerusha Marley who is based on the majestic West Coast of Ireland.
Her artworks are inspired by the local landscape, shamanic practice and celtic mythology.
Driven by a great interest in Sacred Geometry and how Science meets Maths and in turn both meet Spirituality. Inspired by some of the great artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci and MC Esher. Mathematical geniuses of their time who used maths in creating spectacular artworks.
Jerusha starts out every one of her drawings with a geometrical grid abiding by the laws of the Golden Ratio. Within she places her creatures of divinity, spirit animals, birds from the landscape and all the wonderful inspiration from her shamanic drumming journey's.
In creating a true and original piece of wearable art the completed artworks are translated to digital format and not manipulated in any way other than preparing them for print.
The artworks are then sent to the finest artisans of Lake Como, Italy to be translated finally onto Luxury Silks. Here they are finished beautifully with hand rolled edges.
The final product is a truly spectacular one.
Our sustainable, mindful and wonderfully bespoke ethos results in us only taking artworks to print in very small Limited Edition runs creating something very special indeed.
