Isis & Lilith

This piece holds two powerful feminine energies in balance, Isis and Lilith, drawn as mirror images of one another. The artwork can be turned, shifting your perspective from one to the other, inviting a choice in how the energy is seen and felt. They are not opposites, but reflections. Two aspects of the same force. Isis carries the essence of creation, healing, and divine motherhood. She is the keeper of wisdom, the one who restores, who gathers what has been broken and breathes life back into it. Lilith stands in her own power, untamed and unapologetic. She represents sovereignty, independence, and the raw, instinctual self that refuses to be diminished. Together they speak of wholeness. Light and shadow, nurture and defiance, creation and destruction existing side by side. Their wings stretch outward in full power, not in conflict but in expansion. There is strength in their presence, a sense of rising, of claiming space, of becoming fully seen. Encircling them are serpents and the Ouroboros, symbols of cycles without end. The snake sheds its skin, transforming again and again, while the ouroboros reminds us that everything is continuous, nothing is separate. Endings fold back into beginnings. Woven through the drawing is the Flower of Life, a pattern found throughout nature and across cultures, representing the underlying structure of existence. It brings a quiet order to the piece, a sense that even within chaos, there is design. This artwork is an invitation to turn, to shift perspective, to see the duality within and recognise it as one. Power does not sit in one form alone, it exists in the ability to hold all aspects of self, both the soft and the fierce, the light and the shadow.
