The Seed of Life in sacred geometry is more than a diagram of creation, it is a tool of manifestation.  Formed from seven interlocking circles, it represents the moment when potential becomes intention and intention begins to take form.  Across spiritual traditions, it is used as a visual meditation for planting new ideas, initiating projects, and aligning with natural cycles of growth.  Its symbolism resonates strongly with Imbolc, the festival of early spring, when seeds are sown not yet in soil but in imagination, vision, and will. The Sheela na Gig, appearing on medieval churches in Ireland and Britain, embodies this same generative principle in human form.  While commonly described as a fertility symbol, her meaning extends far beyond physical childbirth. By dramatically revealing the vulva, the sacred threshold, Sheela represents fertility in all dimensions: the birth of creativity, dreams, insights, and new ways of being. She reminds the viewer that all creation, whether biological or visionary, emerges through an opening into the unknown. Together, the Seed of Life and the Sheela na Gig express complementary languages of creation, geometry and flesh, abstraction and embodiment.
