A beautifully handcrafted chopping board made from naturally spalted beech, with a distinctive rounded handle and hanging hole that makes this piece as practical as it is beautiful.

The natural spalting creates unique dark lines, soft markings and warm variations throughout the timber, meaning every board has its own individual character. The rounded handle is shaped from the same piece of wood and finished with a generous hanging hole, making it easy to lift, carry or display in your kitchen when not in use.

Made by us in Donegal from wind fallen trees, we sawmill every tree ourselves before carefully preparing the timber. Each board is then planed, shaped and sanded by hand, allowing the natural character of the wood to remain at the heart of the design.

Finished with organic food grade oils and sealed with beeswax from our own bees, the board has a beautiful natural finish designed for everyday kitchen use.

The generous chopping surface makes it perfect for preparing vegetables, herbs, bread and other ingredients, while its beautiful grain also makes it lovely for serving cheeses, breads and sharing plates.
