The Jaguar Goddess Moons

 At the heart of this drawing walks the Black Jaguar, an ancient symbol of courage, intuition and the fearless journey into the unknown. Revered throughout Mesoamerican traditions, the Jaguar is the guardian of the night, teaching us to navigate our shadow with grace rather than fear. She reminds us that true strength is often quiet, knowing when to remain unseen and when to step forward with unwavering confidence.

 Surrounding her are the Triple Goddess Moons, representing the sacred cycles of womanhood through the Maiden, Mother and Crone. Together they honour the continual cycles of birth, growth, wisdom and renewal, reminding us that every stage of life carries its own beauty, purpose and power.

Above the Jaguar rises the ancient Uraeus Cobra, forming an infinity symbol. Across many spiritual traditions, the serpent represents awakening, healing and transformation. Like the snake shedding its skin, it calls us to release what no longer serves us and emerge renewed. It is the living force of life itself, creative energy, intuition and spiritual rebirth.

 The infinity symbol reminds us that this process never ends, transformation is eternal. At the base of the drawing, two serpents intertwine before turning in opposite directions. They embody the sacred balance of opposing energies, light and shadow, masculine and feminine, action and stillness. Together they display the wisdom of duality, where neither force dominates, but both exist in harmony, creating wholeness through balance.

Crows sweep through the skies as messengers between worlds. Long associated with prophecy, intelligence and transformation, they invite us to trust our inner knowing. In Celtic traditions they are linked with sovereignty and the Great Goddess, while many cultures view them as guardians of hidden wisdom. Their presence encourages us to see beyond illusion and embrace the mystery of life's unfolding.

Scattered throughout the artwork are antique-inspired Sun stamps. Since the earliest civilisations, the sun has symbolised divine consciousness, illumination and the life-giving force from which all things grow. Ancient solar discs, seals and sacred markings were used to honour vitality, protection and the eternal cycle of death and rebirth. Here, these sun emblems become blessings woven throughout the drawing, radiating warmth, resilience and spiritual light.

This drawing is an invitation to journey inward, to embrace both the fierce and the gentle, the darkness and the light. It speaks of resilience, intuition and transformation, of awakening the power that already exists within. Every symbol has been carefully hand drawn to create a mandala of remembrance, encouraging us to trust our path, honour our cycles and walk courageously towards our highest self.
