Handcrafted Spalted Beech Chopping Board with Leaf Shaped Handle

Handcrafted Spalted Beech Chopping Board with Leaf Shaped Handle

A beautiful, one of a kind chopping board handcrafted from naturally spalted beech, featuring a distinctive live edge and a hand shaped leaf inspired handle.

Made by us in Donegal from wind fallen timber, every board begins with the full tree. We sawmill the timber ourselves before carefully planing, shaping and sanding each piece by hand. The natural live edge is retained, celebrating the original character and form of the tree.

The beautiful spalted grain creates unique patterns of warm honey, caramel and darker natural markings throughout the board, making every piece completely individual.

The leaf shaped handle adds a beautiful natural detail while making the board easy to carry, serve from or display in the kitchen.

Each board is finished by hand with organic food grade oils and sealed with beeswax from our own bees, bringing out the depth and warmth of the timber.

A very special piece made for a rustic, wood loving kitchen, perfect for chopping, preparing and serving.

Every board is completely unique, with its own natural grain, markings and live edge.
